CLASS & CLUB NEWS

Do you set high academic goals for yourself?  Do you want to show your future college how driven and service-minded you are?  Apply for CSF!  Pick up an application in the main office or in the North Wing 302.  Applications are due to Mr. Yeager at North Wing 302 before school or at lunch only.  The last day to apply is Wednesday, September 11th!

NO AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM TOMORROW AUGUST 29TH.  THERE WILL NOT BE A 5:15 BUS. 

Seniors if you think you will need help paying for the GradNite trip, write a letter to Mrs. Bonilla explaining your situation.  We will look at several factors including grades, attendance, and need.  Letters are due to Mrs. Bonilla by tomorrow August 29th at 3:30pm.  They may be written or typed.  You can email them as well.  See Mrs. Bonilla if you have any questions. 

Are you interested in having fun while learning about sports medicine?  Come join the Sports Medicine After School Program on Tuesdays from 3:15 – 5:15 and Fridays from 3:15 – 4:15, to learn how to tape and rehabilitate athletes, get certified in CPR and First Aid, travel with the sports teams and be a part of the sports community at CHS.  If you have, any questions please contact Kevin Brown or just stop by the athletic training room on Tuesday or Friday.  See you there.

Attention CTE/ROP Students:  The CTEL Club will have its first meeting today at 1:15pm in the Home Ec room.  At the first meeting, we will be discussing the new/updated Pathway Completer Graduation Cord requirements and electing club officials.  Bring your lunch and join us for a short informative meeting!

School Site Council is in need of one student to serve on our School Site Council.  If you are interested, you can sign up with Mrs. Serna in the main office.  Last day to sign up is Friday, August 30.  Your participation is greatly appreciated.
