Class & Club News:

FCA meeting during lunch in the Home Ec room.  Lunch will be provided.

Holiday Dress up days begin next Tuesday, Dec 11th.

Tuesday – Hat a Happy Holiday (wear your favorite hat)

Wednesday – Wacky Sock Wednesday (wear your favorite Holiday socks)

Thursday – Warming up the Holiday (wear your ugly sweater)

Friday – That’s a wrap to the semester (wear your favorite orange and black)

CSF will be doing a coin collection for the California Wildfire Relief Fund.  Any money you can donate will be greatly appreciated.  The money will be collected tomorrow beginning of 6th period.

Attention CHS students:  Bring your families and join CTEL Club for the 2nd annual CTE Night on Dec. 11, in Coalinga at the HUB and Dec. 12 in Huron at the multipurpose room from 6pm – 8pm.  Join us for an evening celebrating the talents of the ROP/CTE students at CHS.  Come on down and enjoy a burger, listen to a guest speaker, and explore the ROP/CTE programs at CHS.

Winter Wonderland Father Daughter Dance tonight 6:00pm – 8:00pm at CHS Hub.  Cost is $20 per father/daughter $5 for each additional daughter.

No After School Program on Thursday Dec. 13 or Friday Dec. 14.  There will not be a 5:15 bus.  After School Program wishes everyone a safe and restful vacation.

 

Sports News:

Attention Lady Toads interested in playing softball, we will begin season conditioning on January 7th at the Varsity Softball Field after school.  In order to participate you must turn your physical in to the office and be cleared, please take care of this as soon as possible.  Contact Coach Cleveland or Coach Brazelton if you have any questions.

 

The boys tennis season is almost here!  Practice starts on January 14th, so get your paperwork from the office and take care of your clearance right away!  If you have any questions, contact Coach Walker at jwalker@chusd.org.

Toads don’t forget to wear college, career, or military gear on Wednesdays.  Go Wednesdays!

 

If you are interested in the military after high school.  Sign-up in the counseling office to speak to a representative.

Administrative Team:

Students who ride the bus to and from CHS must have a student ID in hand to board the bus.  ID’s must be out and available for drivers to read.  If you do not have a current school ID, please see Mrs. Vasquez in the 9th grade counseling office to purchase a new ID.  As of January 7th, NO ID NO BUS RIDE.
