CLASS & CLUB NEWS

Mandatory CSF meeting at lunch this Thursday in North Wing 302.

 

Hello CHS. Biology needs a whole lot of empty egg cartons. Please bring your egg cartons of any size to room 25, Mrs. Hevener’s classroom. The size does not matter; we need all of the sizes, so bring what you have! Thank you for your contribution to science! It is much appreciated.

 

There will be an opportunity to earn 4 units of college credit by taking ASL 1 with Mr. Hendrix at West Hills College. This is a Tuesday/Thursday course from 4:00-5:50 pm, beginning on January 12th until May 25, 2018. Please stop by Mr. Hendrix’s room for more information.

 

The Book Fair is here through Dec. 8th.  Visit the CHS library for all the fun! There are so many books to choose from as well as school supplies, stocking stuffers, and drawings for prizes. We can’t wait to see you there!

Attention 9th grade students and Link Crew Leaders, come to the Freshman Office to sign up for the Holiday Hangout.  It will be December 11th, and tons of fun.  There will be cookie decorating, hot chocolate, gift making, many crafts, and so much more!

 

College Spirit Day is December 13th.

THE SEMESTER ENDS ON DECEMBER 15.  REMEMBER; YOU MUST HAVE A 2.0 OR HIGHER GPA IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN ATHLETIC ELIGIBILITY.  FINISH STRONG, HORNED TOADS!!!

 

Students are reminded that removing or damaging another student’s Macbook or other device may bring criminal charges above and beyond school discipline. Having all this technology is a privilege that can be taken away.

 

SPORTS NEWS

“Attention all Cross Country Runners, the banquet will be held on Monday December 11 in the Home Ec. building.  Please come by and see Coach McFarlin for details on what to bring.”

 

 

Softball will be having a pre-season meeting on Monday, December 11th at 3:15 in the big gym foyer.  It is important for you to attend this meeting if you are interested in playing softball this upcoming season.  Please contact Coach Brazelton or Coach Cleveland if you have any questions.
