CLASS & CLUB NEWS

FCA will be meeting tomorrow in the Home Ec. Room.  Lunch will be provided.

Ms. Cooley’s after school class is canceled for today.

CONGRATS, MOCK TRIAL TEAM!

The team came in 3rd in the entire county along with Clovis North, Clovis West and Buchanan.  They face Clovis West in the first round of the CIF playoffs championship on Tuesday evening February 6th (6:00)  at the Fresno County Courthouse.  Coalinga will serve as the Prosecution bringing the charge of 1st degree murder against a “self-proclaimed” non-violent defendant.  Special Congratulations to the senior leaders, Jonah Walker, Janessa and Jelissa Medina for teaching, training and inspiring the team!  We have no limit to the thanks we owe to our brilliant and generous Mock Trial’s attorney coach Miss Amanda Whitten for her guidance and support!

Also, the team relied upon the support of several other outstanding attorneys and witnesses including Marlin Villanueva, Alizé Basulto, Natalee Melgoza, Jackie Martinez, Jenny Guzman and Liliana and Leticia Ledesma, and our amazing clerk and baliff respectfully –  Sofia Hernandez and Edgardo Gil.

Yearbook needs your homecoming dress up day pictures.  Send them to Mrs.  Ruona aruona@chusd.org by Friday to be featured in the yearbook.  We are also looking for your dance proposals from Fall Homecoming, Sadies and Winter Formal.  Don’t forget to email us.

From Mr. Allen and Mrs. Walker

Trash that is not being thrown into garbage cans is becoming a huge problem both on campus and on walking routes.  Be sure to pick up after yourselves and throw all trash away.
