Class & Club News:

Raise someone’s spirits with a BOO GRAM for Halloween.  Send your favorite people a fun greeting and a treat for just $1 each.  See a CSF member or visit N302 during lunch.  Sale ends Friday!

 

This Thursday October 25, is be the light not the dark.  Wear neon color to promote National Bullying Prevention month.

 

Attention CTE and ROP students:  Join the CTE Leadership Club!  Our first meeting will be on Oct. 24 at 1:10pm in the Home EC room.  The CTEL Club will help you develop leadership skills, plan and participate in exciting events, and give you a new perspective on careers through guest speakers!  Participation in the club is required for all students planning on applying for CTE Pathway Completer Cords for graduation.

The schedule for the Career Fair will be:

2nd Period – Seniors

3rd Period – Juniors

4th Period – Sophomores

5th Period – Freshman

 

If you would like to become a teacher, come to the Future Teachers club meeting on November 2nd at lunch in room HE 3 or see Mrs. Contreras.

 

There will be a meeting in Rm 220, Mr. Hendrix’s room, during lunch on Thursday Nov. 1, 2018 for all students interested in participating in the trip to Haiti during Easter Break.  All aspects of the trip will be discussed.  Hope to see you there :  )

 

 

Sports News:

If you’re interested in trying out for Girls Basketball tryouts begin on Monday October 29th.  You must be cleared by that date.

Attention all JV baseball players! If you are not in a winter sport, non-mandatory fall workouts start Tuesday, Oct. 30th at 3:30 at the JV baseball field.  Any questions contact Coach Redding.

 

 

Counselors Corner:

The College and Career Club is excited to announce Wear Will You Go Wednesday’s November Contest:  College Door Decorating.  Your 5th period class will be assigned a college and everyone will be encouraged to decorate their class doors as creatively as possible!  The contest will be judged at the end of November.  There will be a fun prize!

Interested in the military after high school?  Sign-up in the Main Office to speak to a representative.

Need Community Service?  Students interested in working at Shift Sector on Oct. 27 and 28 sign up in the 9th grade office.  See Mrs. Diaz if you have any questions.
