Class & Club News:

Please join us at the rally at the North Wing Quad Area today, at 1:00.  Come show your Horned Toad spirit!

Huron Students are needed to help with some furniture moving Friday Sept. 14 in the evening.  Community Service hours will be awarded.  Please report to the office at Huron Elementary as soon as you get home Friday afternoon.

Guest Pass permission slips may be picked up in the main office.

Class Ring make up orders will be accepted today, Sept. 14th during lunch in the Library.  A $70. Deposit is required to place an order.  Full color brochures with complete pricing are available in the Main Office and the Library.

Do you have an inquisitive mind?  Do you enjoy learning new things on your own and challenging yourself?  Would you like to compete in a battle of the brains?  Are you interested in the 1960s? If any of these things appeal to you, consider joining CHS’s Academic Decathlon team. We will have an informational meeting this Friday during lunch in the library at 12:55pm.

 

Counselors Corner:

Are you interested in the military or in the taking the ASVAB?  Sign up in the counseling office to meet with a representative.

9th, 10th, and 11th graders: If you are interested in taking the PSAT, sign up in the Counseling Office.

Every Wednesday wear college, career, or military clothes to show your support for Wear Will Go Wednesdays!  Throughout the year, there will be various contests and prizes, so participation counts.  Your 5th period teacher will keep track.
