Class & Club News:

VIDA club will have its first meeting on Wednesday Sept. 19 @ lunch in room 128.  This club promotes college awareness.  We hope to see you on Wednesday.

FCA meeting today at lunch in the Home Ec. room.  Lunch will be provided.

Guest pass applications may be picked up in the main office.

Doors open at 9:00pm and will close one hour after game is over.  Check Instagram for dress code.

CSF applications are due to Mr. Yeager at North Wing 302 before school or at lunch only.  The last day to apply is Tuesday, Sept. 18-so the sooner the better!  Our first meeting to elect officers is this Thursday at lunch in the North Wing 302.

Chess club is starting back up and will be meeting Wednesdays immediately after school in Mr. Jennings room 200.  Whether you are already a seasoned tournament player or just want to learn, chess is the game of a lifetime.  Come help defend our State Championship!  Coalinga HS has a proud history, having won 10 state Chess Championships. GO TOADS!

Counselors Corner:

Are you interested in the military or in the taking the ASVAB?  Sign up in the counseling office to meet with a representative.

9th, 10th, and 11th graders: If you are interested in taking the PSAT, sign up in the Counseling Office.

Every Wednesday wear college, career, or military clothes to show your support for Wear Will Go Wednesdays!  Throughout the year, there will be various contests and prizes, so participation counts.  Your 5th period teacher will keep track.
