Every year, there are hundreds of known attempts to remove books from bookstores, libraries and schools. That’s thousands of lost opportunities to explore ideas that fuel understanding. Words have power and access to diverse ideas makes all of us more powerful. Celebrate the freedom to read by reading your favorite banned book during Banned Books Week, September 24th — 30th.  Stop by the library for more info and to see our display.

FROM THE ATTENDANCE OFFICE

A PARENT MUST VERIFY ALL ABSENCES WITHIN 3 DAYS OF THE ABSENCE.  UNVERIFIED ABSENCES ARE CONSIDERED CUTS. TURN IN ALL DOCTOR & DENTAL NOTES TO MRS. YEAGER IN THE ATTENDANCE OFFICE A.S.A.P.

A reminder to parents and students:  Be thinking early this year about the days you plan to miss school.  Please try to make your Dr. appointments for after school and plan to attend school every day. It is extremely important to attend school the week of December 11h – 15th so you do not miss your quarter and semester final exams.
