Are you a current sophomore or junior and want to be a positive role model? Link Crew Leaders are mentors and student leaders who guide freshmen to discover what it takes to be successful during the transition to high school.  Help facilitate freshman success, and apply to be a Link Crew Leader.  See Mrs.  Diaz for information!

You may work at the Fun Run May 19th at CMS.

Cheer is looking for an enthusiastic person who wants to be our school’s mascot, if you are interested in mascot or manager meet on Monday, May 7 outside Oscar’s Hub at 3:30.

LADIES…YOU WILL BE DRESS CODED FOR TOPS THAT REVEAL YOUR MIDRIFF AS WELL AS BLOUSES THAT ARE WORN OFF THE SHOULDER WITHOUT A TWO INCH STRAP UNDERNEATH.  STAY SCHOOL APPROPRIATE PLEASE.

 

FROM THE COUNSELING OFFICE

Juniors and Seniors looking for a paid summer job can come by the Counseling Office to pick up an application to be a Student Summer Helper with the CHUSD Maintenance Dept.  Applications must be turned in by May 11, 2018 by 4:00pm to Mrs. Ruona in the Counseling Office.

Seniors: If you are planning on attending West Hills College Lemoore and need to switch your classes, there will be a workshop on Wednesday, April 25th.  Sign-up in the Counseling Office to attend.”

 

Have you been or are currently in the Migrant program and plan to attend West Hills College? Apply for their CAMP program. Please contact Ms. Fernandez for more information.

 

Attention Seniors:  There are many local scholarships available this month. Be sure to check the scholarship bulletin.  It is available in the Counseling Office and on the CHS website.  Ms. Fernandez also e-mailed you a copy.

 

 

SPORTS NEWS

 

If you are interested in playing JV football next year please come by Mr. Piz’s class before or after school for updates on the upcoming season.

 

Anyone planning on playing football next year, Spring practice starts Monday, May 7th after school. Meet at the practice field. Please bring cleats and weight room shoes. We need anyone that is not currently in a sport to be there. Any questions contact Coach Redding, Coach Earls, or Coach McCaleb. See you there.
