California State Law requires students to meet established state standards in Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and Social Science in order to receive a high school diploma. Furthermore, students are required to pass a high school exit exam that will demonstrate the proficiency of a high school education. Graduating classes are required to complete a senior project as part of their social science curriculum. As well as complete 60 hours of Community Service.Parents and student will be kept informed of the progress of the student in meeting these requirements. Remediation is required of students not meeting the required standards.
*Any class required for graduation that is not passed will be required to be made-up the following year or during a summer school. (i.e. If you fail Freshman English–it must be made up in the Sophomore year or in Summer School)
